BASES IN BRAZIL
U.S. AID IN CONSTRUCTION Rec. 2 p.m. NEW YORK, June 16. The United States is negotiating With Brazil l'or the construction ot air bases on the Brazilian coast lor use in emergency. An official ot the Brazilian Embassy in Washington revealed that the United States ■ Plans to lend Brazil £31,250,000 to construct the bases.
