ELECTION OF OFFICERS
At the annual general meeting o: the Auckland Motor Cycle Club the following officers were elected for the new season:— Patron, Mr. J. A. G. Ailum; president, Mr. G. C. Smith; active vice-president*, Messrs. C Allen and W. Marrett; vice-president*, Messrs. B. Bray. J. Dale, C. Goldfinch, J. Harley, M. Lichtenstein, C. J- C. Kav, X, Person, S. Person, L. Sargent, W. White, H. White, E. T. White; A.C.U. delegate, Mr. C. Allen; secretary and treasurer, Mr. R. H. Battv: auditor, Mrs. J. Dale; club captain,' Mr. K. Wright; vice-captain, Mr. C. 11. Brindle; handicappers, Messrs. W. Marrett and K. Wright; machine examiners. Messrs. C. GoidDerg, W. Wadham and B. Brav; committee, Messrs. C. ±1. Brindle, W."Manctt, A. Harding. C. Allen, J. 11. Phillips, L. Perry, K. Alport, C. Kcefe. Subscriptions were set at five shillings for adult members and 2/6 for lady members or for youths under 18. In recognition of many years of service to the club Mr. C. Allen was elected a life member. The results of the annual trial for the Crawford Cup, which was held last day. were as follow: —iJ. I\. Phillips (Hxceleiorj 1. with, a loss of 14 points; Ij. V. Perry iVclocctte) 2, with a loss of 15 points, and K. fc". Seed (\ elocette) 3, witti a loss of 18 points. A social evening will be held at the clubrooms. No. 2, Edinburgh Street, at eight o'clock to-night.
