In "Waitemata Woman Elector's" letter she say?, '"N'mv we are to have a by-election" and suggests that the heads of the Labour party have an unique opportunity to show their sympathy for women of New Zealand by ''nominating"' a woman for Parliament. T supgest, if the Opposition party is preparer! to take it lying down, that an Independent candidate bo "elcrted," one who is able to criticise the Labour Government in respect not only of their legislation in Parliament, but their legislation by Order-in-CounciL whicn is not democratic, and also theirnonadroinistration of some of the laws they have placed on the Statute booKAn Independent candidate who Will include these points in his platform would he an acoui-ition to our P re .-, ent Parliament and his return wouja also be an expres.-ion of the dissatisfaction that e\i>ts in the P res ?;_ Administration wphout taking hat off to the coal miners.
