FATAL COLLISION
LIGHT CAR AND TRUCK
WOMAN PASSENGER KILLED
Injuries which proved fatal were suffered by a Methodist minister's wife, who was a passenger in a small motor car when it collided with a stationary motor truck on the Great South Road about a mile south of Papakura shortly before seven o'clock last night. The victim was:— Mrs. Sheila Jean Hamilton Coombridge, aged 32, wife of the • S e Tu )V- G - R. Coombridge, Methodist minister, of Bombay. , The car was travelling north when it ran into the back of the truck. Mrs. Coombridge was in the front seat and received the full force of the collision. She was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St John ambulance, but died soon after admission. The driver of the car Mr Charles Wootten. was uninjured but his sister, Miss Grace Wootten 'who was a passenger in the back of the car, received cuts to the face
