APPLICATIONS TO RUGBY UNION
The management committee of the Auckland Rugby Union was ad vised last night by the Takapuna Club (holder of the Gallaher Shield) that it had had the Pleasure of entertaining and mooting the members To Kohanga Club f FrankHnj Jast Saturday, and susgested that t!iinterchange of visits with country team* should be encouraged. In this connection it was resolved +o notify affiliated clubs that the Tbiiirnw Lnion was desirous of arranging matches with city clubs.
