PILOT MISSING
AUCKLAND SERGEANT
Sergeant-Pilot John David Long who was reported yesterday as missing on air operations, is the only son of Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Long, 0f'1195 New North Road. Mount Albert Bom at Sawyer's Bay, near Port Chalmers, 21 years ago he wls educated at the Owairaka primary school and the Mount Albert GramJfSff He was employed at the Otahuhu railway workshops and was a member of the Avondale Rugby League Club's third grade team.
