In "The Sea Wolf" John Garfield slaps her. Well, she wanted to play a vixen. And vixens in Hollywood die in their films, or get slapped. ♦ ♦ ♦ ♦ QEORGE COLES, F.R.1.8.A., an English architect who has built over a hundred cinemas in Britain, thinks that, as a result of the war, future cinemas will be built for absolute safety. They will go 40ft underground, be bomb and soundproof, and be easier to heat and cool. On the other hand, to build a cinema underground will probably cost double.
