RUBBER CONTROL
NEW SYSTEM IN BRITAIN GOVERNMENT ONLY IMPORTER (Rec. 11 a.m.) LONDON, May 7. The Ministry of Supply becomes the sole importer of rubber under an agreement with the London rubber market. The market will remain open, with reduced power* to carry on distribution to consumer*. There will be no interference with purchases or ealee for delivery outside the United Kingdom, which bring in considerable dollar resouroee.
