MEMBER'S RESIGNATION
AVORK IX OTHER SPHERE. iP.A.) WELLINGTON. Wednesday. The Minister of Labour, the Hon. P. C. Webb, announced to-day that Mr. A. W. Nesbk has tendered his resignation as a member of the Industrial Emergency Council. Mr. Webb said that .Mr. Nesbit had performed excellent work, both as a member of the council and as chairman of the hours committee, and he desired to express his sincere thanks, and also the appreciation of the Government, for the valuable service lie had rendered. Mr. Nesbit was appointed at the inception of the council as manufacturers' representative, and he was now devoting his whole time 10 the setting up of the auxiliary training scheme throughout the Dominion, lie was at present attached to the staff of the Labour Department. Mr. D. I. Mac Donald, secretary of the Manufacturers' Federation, had been appointed manufacturers' representative on the council, concluded Mr. Webb.
