The Lancashire Society at its annual meeting held in the Manchester Unity Hall elected the following officers:—President. Mr. J. H. Smith; vice-presidents, Mesdames Bibbv and Goodsail. Messrs. W. Shearer and A. RatclilTe; secretary, Mr. J. Ash worthy; treasurer. Mr. Rimmer: committee, Mesdames Bibbv. Davenport, Gaughan. Hooton, Jenkins. Kay. Kearins and Ward. Messrs. L. Anderson. Bibby. Cutler. Goulder. Hilton, Howarth. Murphy. May and Ratcliffe.
