FALL FROM CAR.
3-YEAR-OLD GIRL KILLED
TRAGEDY NEAR TE AROHA
(0.C.) TE AROHA, this day. A tragic accident occurred on the Te Aroha-Paeroa main road three miles from Te Arolia on Saturday morning when a child fell on the road from a motor car which was travelling towards Te Arolia. The victim was Patricia Dawn A\ aldron, aged three a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Waldron of Xgatea.
'I he frill ami lief five year-old brother wore seated in the back' of the ear and Mr. Waldrou was <lri\ing. Just after he had left Mangaiti Mr. Waldrou heard an unusual rattling sound at the hack of his car and. on turning round was horrified to find the hack rishthand door open and his daughter massing. Mr. Waldrou immediately stopped the car and found the little »iii lvinir in the middle of the mad. Dr. s. r Martin, of Te Aroha. was summoned, hut the child was dead.
