MISSING ON SERVICE.
NEW ZEALAND AIRMAN
Advice that her son, Flying-Officer Maxwell Stewart Ferguson, was missing 011 air operations has been received by cable by Mrs. W. S. Ferguson, of Hampton Court, City. Born in Xew Zealand 25 years ago, Flying-Officer Ferguson is a son of the late Mr. W. S. Ferguson, and he was educated in England during his father's term of service in the New Zealand High Commissioner's office in London. On the death of his father in 1931, lie returned to Xew Zealand and left again in 1037 to take up a short-service commission in the Royal Air Force. Following his initial training he served with a bomber squadron in Iraq, and since the outbreak of war he has been on flying dutv in the Middle East.
