ARMY TRAINING.
TERRITORIAL FORCE.
WEEK-END ACTIVITIES.
Many units of the Territorial Force in the Northern Military District were engaged in training during the week-end. Those in bivouao on Saturday afternoon and Sunday carried out field training, and in some cases the men were also exercised on the rifle range. Units were in .training as follows:— l«t Battalion, Auckland Regiment, at Carlaw Park; Ist Battalion, N.Z. Scottish Regiment, at Auckland Grammar School and Ellerslie Racecourse: Headquarters and support ComET- A ? f . tho Ist Battalion North Auckland Regiment, at Whangarei ; A and B Companies of the Ist Battalion, Waikato Regiment, near Hamilton and To Awamutu; 4th Works Company of Engineers, at Auckland, Whangarci and Hamilton; Ist Battalion .National Military Reserve, at Pakuranga: Hamilton unit of National Military Reserve, at Claudelands.
