PETER PAN
The latest overseas swing music was featured in typically bright manner by Theo Walters and his Personality Band at the Peter Pan Cabaret on Saturday night. Large parties of guests were entertained in honour of special festive celebrations, and an atmosphere of gaiety prevailed. Slow and quick fox trots and jazz waltzes comprised the programme, and the inclusion of the rumba, with lively action by the conductor, was received with hearty applause. "Dearest, Dearest I'' was a 'popular new number, while well-known tunes were modernised with original orchestral details that appealed to the dancers and evoked encores.
