YACHT RACING. SEASON.
OFFICIAL CLOSING TO-MORROW. The official closing races of the Auckland yachting season will be held to-morrow, when all clubs afflUated to the Auckland Yacht and Motor Boat Association will take part in combined events. Yachts over 18ft will be catered for in cruising races to Matiatia, while the smaller craft starting from the tower on the kings wharf. The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron will hold a race for its keel yachts to a destination to be decided to-morrow morning. The starting times of the various classes will be as follows:—Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron kcelers, 2 p.m.; keel classes of other clubs, 2.8 p.m.; H. I, L. N classes, 2.16 pm M class, 2.24 p.m.: V class, 2.32 p.m ; S class 2.40 p.m.; T. X. Y and Idle Along classes 248 p.m.; Frostbite class, 2.56 p.m.: Z <.lass. 3.4' pm The Manukau Y.icht and Motor Boat Club v ill close its season with a race on the Manukau for the Claude Pickering Memorial Trophy.
