HONOURED BY HOME TOWN. (Reed. 2 p.m.) LOXDOX, April 4. The Royal burgh of Tain, in Kossshire, has tieckicd to confer the freedom of the town on the Rt. Hon. Peter Fraser, who is a native of Fearn. Tain is a port and Royal burgh, Ross and Cromarty, on the south shore of Dornoch Firth, 44 miles north of Inverness. It has a population of 2500. Fearn is a village four miles from Tain.
