A mobile canteen, presented to the Xew Zealand overseas forces by the .NewZealand U.S.A., was forma 11 v handed over by Mr. C. \\\ Batten to the Hon. W. Perry, deputy chairman of the Patriotic Fund Board. Mr. Batten said 40.0011 members of the U.S.A. had adopted to-day's soldiers as their younger brothers, and the canteen would be a link between the old soldiers and their successors. It would be fast enough to keep up with a retreating enemy.
