ENEMY AIR LOSSES.

R.A.F. Bombers And Fighters Over Valona. British Official Wireless. (Rct-d. 1 p.m.) RUGBY. Feb. 28. It is officially announced in Athens that a formation of Royal Air Force bombers, escorted by Hurricane fighters, yesterday attacked the aerodrome at Valona. A very larjre number of bombs exploded all over the aerodrome. Hangars and adminisirative buildings were hit repeatedly.

Seven enerey fighter* were shot down in the ensuinp combat and two others were destroyed when tboy collided in mid-air. All the British aircraft returned, safelv.

Supplementary to the news of the destruction of nine enemy aircraft durinp yesterday's Royal Air Force raid on Valona. the Middle East communique states that two additional Italian aircraft were destroyed by Greek antiaircraft fire vesterdav.
