ALL FOUND NEGLIGENT.

The hearing of the claims of Clare C. Da.nby, Valerie H. McOallum and Hilda M. Dawson (Mr. A. K. Turner and Mr. •T. K. Johnston) against Francis Alfred Al<l red (Mr. W. VV. King) arising out of a motor accident near El Rey Cabaret in October last year was concluded before Mr. Justice Fair and a jury in

the Supreme Court yesterday afternoon,! when the jury returned answers to a series of issues involving all parties in negligence. The quantum of generai: damages fixed by the jury, irrespectivej of the effect of tneir answers to the; issues, was £150 for each plaintiff. j The jury'e answers to the iesuee found' defendant guilty of negligence in caus-l ing the aoeident; that the plaintiff*! entered the car after 2.15 a.m. and that this was negligence on their part, knowing the car had to catch the ferry at 2.30 a.m.; and that the negligence of each of them wae an effective cause of the accident. Mr. King moved for judgment and Mr. Turner for time to consider moving for judgment, or for a new trial.: Hie Honor reserved the motions. aml : gave leave for either party to movr' within 14 daye for a new trial. ;
