A further appeal for recruits to l>rin«r lhe unit to battalion strength was made by Captain A. Tronton, company commander. at a parade of the Remucra Home (iuard last eveninjr. Captain Tronson stated that the company was gradually gTowing in numbers, but much larger enlistments were required. He rnvphasieed that men already enrolled in the Emergency Precautions Scheme could and should join up wit-h the Ciuard.

Headed by the Newmarket Citizens' Band, the company was engaged la*t evening 011 a route march along Kcmuera Road and it attracted a good deal of attention from the public.
