GISBORNE AUXILIARY UNITS. (0.C.) GISBORXE. this day. An indication that £2500. of which insurance firms would provide a quarter, would be required to provide additional equipment for auxiliary fife-fight in? units was given to the Gisborne Emergency Precautions. Service Committee which decided to give the Fire Board control of this phase of duties. While members claimed the proposals took away from the Emergency Precautions Service everything but responsibility for operating the scheme, other* argued that the Fire Board was the proper authority to control fire-fighting auxiliaries. e
