The Minister of Finance, the Hon. W. Nash, announced to-day that the contract with Mr. Leslie Lefaux as Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand expires to-day, and that Mr. W. F. Ward, deputygovernor, -will control the bank until a new governor is appointed O.C, Wellington.
