PUKEKOHE RETAINS THE HELLABY SHIELD IN COUNTRY WEEK.

Defeating Hamilton yesterday by 16 runs, Pukekohe retained the Hellaby Shield, emblematic of supremacy in the Auckland Cricket Association's Country Week tournament. The final points were: —Pukekohe 20, Rodney 15, Hamilton 14, Thaniee 5. The Auckland Ex-servicemen had an eleven in the field for the whole six days, and, although not eligible for the trophy, the country teams were allowed to count points for their games against the soldiers.
