SHIP'S DESERTERS.
SEAMEN TO BE DEPORTED. Pleading guilty to a charge of deserting from the ship Solheim at Auckland on December 12 and also entering the Dominion without permits, two Norwegian seamen, Thorlief Lund, aged 18, and Alf Jakobsen, aged 21, were to-dav ordered by Mr. J. Morling, S.M.. to te detained in custody until a suitable ship is available to deport them.
