YUGOSLAV PICNIC.

_ The 11th annual picnic of the Yugoslav Club held at Pine Island yesterday proved a most successful attraction, over 1000 people attending. Extra launches had to be hired after the steamer Peregrine had been filled to capacity, and even then some 300 would-be picnickers had to be left behind. The net proceeds of the function have been donated to patriotic funds. Results of the main sporting events held during the afternoon were as follow:— Totich Cup ladies): Miss V. Bakalich, 1; Miss A.
