The North Shore annual summer golf tournament was concluded yesterday, the Ferrv Cup, the principal event, being won bv J Morrison (North Shore), who defeated his club mate. H. Stevens, 3 and 2. The results were: — Ferrv Cup.—B. T. Laycock beat S. Booth. 3. and o. tt p stevens beat L. Knight, 1 up, P. Millar H. Walker at the 19th;.J. W. Morrison beat H. Preston, jun.. 5 and 4. Semi-finals: stpvpn« beat Laycock, 3 and 1, Morrison beat Millar 2 up. Final: Morrison beat Stevens, 3 and 2. Prank Hawes Cup.—R- P. Williams beat J. D. B 0 ' , and 5- A. K. Braay beat L. R. Allum, 1 upf w C Robertson beat S. Wales. 6 and 5; J. Bishop beat E. J. Price, 6 and 5. Semi-flnals: Williams beat Brady, 3 and 1; Bisliop beat Robertson, Tup. Final: Bishop beat Williams, at the lDth. Minor events resulted:— Bogey match: J W Morrison, 1 down. Medal round: J. Bishop. 84—16 —68. Stableford: H. P. Ibbertsen, 36, L. Knight, 33.
