RINKS BOWLING.
CHRISTMAS TOURNEY. SECTION PLAY ENDING TO-DAY HOW MANY WIIX QUALIFY ? The Auckland Bowling Centre's annual rinks championship was continued to-day, the final three rounds of section play being scheduled. The winners and others who qualify will meet at Carlton green on Monday for post-seotional contests. Besides teams which win their sections outright others may qualify provided they score as many victories as those standing to the credit of the riuk wliioh leads with the lowest nmwber of wins in the seven sections. Yesterday D. C. Fraser (Mount Eden) was in this position in section D, with four successes in his six games. If he happened to win two of his three matches to-day everybody in tht- tourney with six victories would qualify for post-section play. Even if Fraser failed to qualify there are several other skips in his section at Onehunga who could have six victories, provided they do the ' hat-trick" to-day.
