WAR VETERAN PROMOTED.
(0.C.) HAMILTON, this day. The promotion to the rank of lieutenant, and the appointment to the post of adjutant of the Waikato Mounted Rifles of Sergeant-Major K. Bishop, has been announced. Lieutenant Bishop served through the Great War, and on his return he joined the New Zealand Permanent Staff, with which he has been .associated ever since. )
