Sure Pay worked with plenty ot dash. Esquire (Manson) finished well clear of Little Ruse (Brown) at the conclusion ot six furlongs run in 1.18. Esquire was running on strongly at the end. Brahman (J. Bagby) and Mendelssohn (Wiggins) jumped off at the mile post, accompanied by Sir Ueau (Messervy). They ran the first four furlongs in 51s and the five in 1.3 3-5, Sir Beau, who was holding his companions, being eased* up at this stage. The other pair continued on to run a mile in 1.34 4-5, a first-rate gallop. Other Gallops. Aero King (Coon) ran three furlongs on the tan in 40 Tss, Pasture (Cammick) taking 42s>. Forest Acre (C. G. Goulsbro) and Black Majesty (Wiggins) covered four furlongs in 53 3-5s and Sly Fox (Piatt) traversed six in 1.30. Sir Cameron (C. G. Goulsbro) beat Roval Message (Manson) and Night Hawk (McGill) at the end of six furlongs in 1.23, the first three in 30 3-3». The Jumpers. The Trimmer (Cleaver), Rarotonga (Chaplin) and Sabu (Skiffington) jumped four hurdles in the centre, Rarotonga finishing in front. Glen .Abb (Ritchie) and Rival (Maria) both gave a good exhibition over the same fences, and Sardue (Gemmell) led King Lume in a similar task, both jumping safely. Riding Engagements.
