FRENCH REPULSED.
THAI COMMAND'S CLAIM. (Reed. 9.30 a.m.) BANGKOK, Dec. 22. The High Command has issued a communique that Thai forces repulsed French troops, which for the first time entered Thai territory at Klong Louk, near Nakorpanom. Thai aeroplanes bombed military towns on the Indo-Gliina border, indluding Nongsaphang, where they caused heavy casualties among troop concentrations, and aleo Savannakhet, where they destroyed a power plant, munitions depot, rice mill, military barracks and Government offices. The American Minister, Mr. Grant, understands that the majority of American missionaries, women and children, have evacuated dangerous areas on the frontier in accordance with his advice.
