DOWN THE CHIMNEY!
The arrival of Santa Claus down the chimney was one of the spectacular xcatures of the annuai treat arranged by the Transport Soedal Chib for the children of employees, in the company's social hall at Otahuhu. In the absence of the club's patron Mr V B. Spencer, Mrs. Spencer was hneteea for tlie evening which opone<l with a concert by the P.T.C. Merrymakers' orchestra, and items 1> V Messrs". T>. (JilIwpie and H. Wvhui. Mr. W. Well*, the club president, called the 03 children to--rether to witness the arrival of Santa Clans, -who presented each with a st>eoially selected -ift.
