DRIVER SUSPENDED.
(P.A.) CHRISTCHLRCH. Sunday. The stipendiary steward. Mr. C. F. Hartland, on duty at the Hurunui Racing Club's noii-totalisator meeting yeeterday, called the judicial committee together to inquire into an allegation of interference with Wee Jack, driven by R. M. Seott, in the Waikari Open Trot. Mr. Hartland charged J. E. Murtitt, driver of Pearl Shell, with causing interference to Wee Jack. The comniitee, after hearing the evidence of the stipendiary steward and the patrol stewards, reversed the judge's placing*, awarding Wee Jack eecond place, and Pearl Shell third. Murfitt was suspended for three months.
