On the tan Silver Qufx (Wiggins) strode over six furlongs in 1.21. her last half mile taking 53 2-.~>s. Dainty Dell (Wiggine) and Black Majesty IEUU) ran five furlongs on the same track in 1.8 "2-5, mid Anita Foe. Beau Vite. Sly Fox and Old Bill were given serviceable work.
Venture and Rue de Paix left during tlie week-end to fulfil engagements at the Taranaki and Stratford fixtures.
BELLE CANE REHANDICAPPED. Belle Cane, as the result of her win in the Manawatu Cup on Saturday, has had her weight increased by lib in the Railway and Christmas Handicaps, to be decided on the first day at Ellerslie, making 7.5 and 8.3 respectively.
