BANK OF N.Z.'S RECOVER. MORE STOCKS OFFERED. After a moderate list of sales at the first call business came to a standstill on the Auckland Stock Exchange this morning. Bank of New Zealands showed a recovery, A. ith buyers up to £2 2/3, 3d above the late price, but generally values were fairly steady. Waihi Investments, which came back on to the quotations list after being banned by the Reserve Bank since August, had buyers at 3,-9 and sellers at 5/. Sellers of Mount Morgans . me in at 9/6 and offers were raised to 9/1. | Government stocks were more freely available, but at high levels.
