(By Marie Viekermaa. 71. Aihtao Road. Moat Eden, lit It.) How would you liko to float l.'p through a cloudless sky, Where you land on a magic isle, And there on the sand you would Se. I'ji before you would spring a palace, Clittering and bright, llofore it would hang a rainbow, It's the Palace of Pure Delight. In the garden would be many flower*. Where you spend many leisurely hours, Butterflies flutter everywhere, So one has a worry of care. I f you're going, don't bother to pack your clothes, •Just climb on a clotid, and away it goes To a land where there* nothing but happiness found, That's the land for which you're bound. DISHES. (By Xadine Drake. Arnold Street. Grey Lynn. W.J, a«e 12.) Dishes: Dishes! Who will do the dishes! Marv, Margaret, of jolin. Mary shakes her curly head. "I'll think of it anon.*' "t)h. dishes are such horrid things, AM dirty in the sink.'" And Margaret sigiied and said again, "I'd rather die, I think.'' But little Jdliu. he's only thffee, Put down his towel and cried. '"Oh. what's the use of qiiaffelling! "I've washed them all aid dried."'
