PAYMENTS FOR WHEAT.
CHRTSTCHUROH, this day. When all New Zealand's milling wheat liaa been absorbed at the end of next month, the Wheat Committee will have paid out more than £1,847,300 to growers Up to the present 6,375,539 bushels have gone to the mills, representing payments on an average of 5/9 a bushel of £1,717.981. It is estimated'that there are still 500,000 bushels of wheat to come in before the end of the season.
