SLIGHT FIRMING TREND. BROKEN HILLS RECOVER. Tlic market on the Auckland Stock Exchange this morning was slightly firmer, buyers in many sections advancing their oftin. Sellers, however, were still aloof, eniipcitilly in the gilt-edged eection, where the hardening trend was most noticeable. Broken fTili Proprietaries recovered after n recession in the early part nf the week. There wan ;t sale this morning ai £2 4/3, which is a rise of 3d. The Noon Call. Litllfi business was done at the noon call ami quotations were not irrently changed. Buyers lor J)oniiuion and New Zealand BrewciioM moved up, 3d in one cane and fid in the ntlicr. The quote for the former in now £1 11/0 and for New Zealands £1 14'!t. Sellers for the Dominion company r'onceded 3d in willing to quit at £1 12/, which in the price of tlie previous Hale.
