PRESENTATIONS.
Kow in camp with the Third Echelot Mr. J. W. Kealy, a member of the Gt* Council, wae presented with an inseribec wristlet watch bv the Mayor, Sir Ernest Davie, aUd* colleagues" on th* council at a gathering in the Mayor* room. A large gathering of councillor* paid tributes to Mr. Kealy's work for the city.
Formerly president of the Howick branch of the National party. LteuhCol. K. B. Tennent, who is 'resaminr military service, was farewelled at th* Howick Town Hall. :
Representatives of the BucklaniT* Beach and Whitford branches, and Dr. K- G. MeElroy, representing the Auckland branch, paid tribute to Colonel Tennent s energy and organising ability. Colonel Tennent fought in the laet war, serving *t GaUipoli, where he woi the Military Medal. He was promote* to his present tank in 1929, when he wa§ made commanding officer of the Nortl Auckland Mounted Rifles.
