TRANSPORT PROBLEM.
"STAGGERING" OF HOURS.
Appreciation of support given to tba plan for "staggering" of hours to overcome the peak hours transport problem was expressed at a meeting of the Auckland Transport Board this morning by the. chairman, Mr. W. H. Xagle. He said the Seddon Memorial Technical College authorities had agreed to assist. and the Civil Service Commissioner had agreed, as from to-day, for all to leave at 4.30 p.m. instead of 5 p.m. Mr. J. Sayegh said manufacturers were finding it difficult to meet the wishes of the board.
Mr. Nagle said that the board wanted co-operation and believed that thev would get.it. v> t; . ,
