FLIGHT FROM SYDNEY.

WEATHER CAUSES DELAYS,

After two days of delay <lue to bad weather conditions, the Tasmaii Empire Airways' flying boat Aotearoa to-day made the return traiistasman flight to Auckland from Rose Bay, Sydney. She alighted at 2 p.m.

This is the first flight over the Tasman by the Aotearoa since a recent, extensive overhaul, lasting several months. She was commanded bv Captain Oscar Garden. She left Sydney at 5.37 a.m. (New Zealand time) and completed the trip in normal conditions in eight hours 23 minutes.
