AMERICAN GENEROSITY. (Received 1.30 p.m.) RUGBY, July 25. The Minister of Health, Mr. Maleolm Mac Donald, has accepted in London a large part of a fleet of 260 fully-equipped motorised ambulances, surgical units, and mobile first-aid posts of the American Ambulance Brigade in Britain from Mr. W. B. Phillips, director-general of the service, presenting them on behalf of Americans in Britain. Mr. Mac Donald eaid the vehicles would preserve a distinct and independent status, but would fit in completely with the organisation of our own emergency services. Somo of the vehicles would be posted to every region in England, Scotland and Wales, and there would be no part of the island where the citizens would not have reason to thank and bless their American friends' generosity.
