BENZINE SUPPLIES.
Three weeks ago I put in an application for benzine for running a circular saw. At the end of the first week I received a notice stating "Application refused, further information required." Another week passed and still mora information is required. "Where saw is li- .Uod. estimated monthly hours of use and consumption per hour." Xow there is but one use- for a circular saw. I applied as a carpenter, and I applied for one gallon per week. If the people running this Emergency Act do not know the consumption per hour of a benzine engine of a stated horse-power they are not capable of holding down their job. If they do know they would know the estimated hours T wanted to work the saw. Also, if cars are allowed up to eight gallons per month for pleasure and no questions asked, why the above. All information required could be put on the application form. If this is an example of how we are expected to "work for victory and co-operate." then I'll help willingly.
