"STAR" WAR MAP.
(To the Editor.) On behalf of several of my bushues acquaintances (who are not given, to writing letters) and myself, I woukl like to thank you for that fine little world, map in Saturday's "Star" ieene Being a keen observer of maps in general, I get a lot of pleasure in following worid trends. Your recent publications are so comprehensive in every detail, it is a source of delight imt to ,= it down for in hour or *o at a time ana study them, with a view to keeping abreast with things in general. It js not always convenient to get out a large map—hence the popularity of tout recent publications. We can onlv acknowledge your up-to-the-minute method with a •"hats off to th<? "Star'" for trying to get the public to see things as they are to-day—and not having to wait until events crowd in upon us. F. PATOX.
