COLONEL BOOST SUCCEEDS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH, Saturday. The Manawatu Hunt Club's annual race meeting was held at Awapuni to-day in fine weather. The course was in perfect order and there wae a large attendance. The totalisator handled £18,780 10/, compared with £15,833 last year, an increase of £2947 10/. Late results were:— Te Horo Handicap, seven furlongs.—2 Colonel Bogey. 8.0 (W. J. Broughton), 1; 3 riassform, 8.12. car. 8.7 (H. Stewart), 2; 1 Screen Star, 8.12 (W. Marsh), 3. Scratched : Noble Fox ; Half a length • neck. Time, 1.29 2-5. Hunt Cup Steeples, about two miles and a quarter.—9 Royal King. 9.5 (P. McBreartv), 1: 4 Nino Martini, 9.2 (N. Cavanev). 2: 6 Tigreterre. 9.11 (P. Kae). 3. Scratched : Gaswyn. Head ; length. Time, 4.:v7. Cheltenham Hack Cup. one mile and a quarter. —1 Little Kobln. 9.G (B. H. Morris). 1: 5 Kohika. 8.2 (G. R. Tattersnll). 2: 9! Gold Gain, 8.0 (J. McCauley), 3. Half a length : three lengths. Time, 2.11 4-5. Otaki Handicap, six furlongs.—l Deflation. 8.7 (W. J. Broughton), 1; 6 Debretts, 8.2 (S.
