WAIPA GUN CLUB.
At last week-end's shoot of the Wnipa Gun Club the first event was a six-bird eye-opener, in which G. Tarr, T. Nell nnu K. Trimble shot the possible and divided. A seven-bird sweepstake saw E. Irimble and XI. Otwav divide the prize, each shoot; ing the possible. No. 3 event was a competition for a special cup, with an optional sweepstake, six birds. G. Pollard, M. Otway and R. Trimble shot the possible points for the cup. and XI. Pratt, (i. Pollard, J. Pollard, K. Trimble, T. Neil and XI. Otway, each with the possible score, divided the sweep. ' A nine-bird contest for another cup, with optional sweep, was won by Smith, who shot the possible. \V. Parish, h. Zimmerman, and G. Pollard tied for second place with eight birds each, and as Smith was not eligible for the cup competition these three shot off. Zimmerman won on the tenth bird. A glnicrack match, six birds, saw T. Nell and Smith shoot the possible and divide the sweep. A six-bird contest was won by R. Trimble with five birds, and XI. Pratt was second with four birds.. A Skeet shoot, six birds, saw T. XlcXllllan, XI. Pratt and XI. Otway shoot the possible and divide the a weep.
