AMUSEMENTS.
ROXY-TIVOLI. Two brilliant dramatic productions make up the new programme to be presented >oi the first time to-morrow at the P.oxy and Tivoli Theatree. The first is a pnsca drama, "Men Without Souk," while second on the bill is "Secrete of a Nurse," starring Edmund Lowe. "Men Without Souls" tells a grim story of penitentiary life. John Litel, Barton MaeLape and Rochelle Hudson appear prominently, Litel in an unusual role for him—that of the prison chaplain. Mac Lane, who ha* in recent months been making a name for himself ae the detective in the Torchy Blane series, returns to his old pare of gang leader. Glenn Ford, a comparative newcomer, ie seen in the role of the young man who has himself eent to puson to avenge the death of his father, who w<is killed by one of the guards. One of live most dramatic sequences is that in which the chaplain walkd across the piieon juitt in the face of gunfire .to send the prisoners back to their cells. In supporting parts are Cy Kendall and Dick Curtis. In tde other film Dick Koran appears wuli Edmund Lowe, and both give excellent portrayals.
