MINING NEWS.
Blackwater Mines, Limited (Reefton) reports that during June 3815 tons of ore were crushed for 1752 fine oz., valued at £ 14,717. Working expenses, not including ordinary or war gold duty, were £ 8097. Development expenditure was £850 aiid capital expenditure £1133. Yields of other companies are :—Clutha : 550z in 107 hours. Wellington Alluvlals (four weeks ended June 22). —10920z in 398 hours fur 227,000 yards.
