AIRMEN IN CANADA.
Y.W.C.A. HOSPITALITY. RESPONSIBLE FOR LEAVES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Cabled advice has been received by tlie Y.W.CA. of New Zealand that the National Council of the Young Women's Christian Association in Canada is arranging hospitality in private homes for overseas airmen during their periods of leave. A cable received from Mrs. Harvey Ajriiew. president of the Y.W.CA. in Canada, reads as follows; "National Council Canada responsible leaves overseas airmen. Glad co-operate with relatives New Zealand members in Canada." By arrangement with the Federal Government of Canada, the Y.W.CA. has established and equipped 50 "Hostess Houses" in the neighbourhood of military training centres to meet the need of those coming to visit soldier relatives and friends, and of arranging hospitality for men on leave. Those in New Zealand who wish to communicate with the Y.W.CA. in Canada in regard to their menfolk in Canada mav address requests or inquiries, to National Council Y.W.CA., 143 College Street, Toronto.
