CHURCHILL'S DECISION.

LONDON', July 4.
Mr. Winston Churchill, in the House i>f Commons, rejected a suggestion that a coniniander-in-chief should be appointed for the efficient co-ordination of all military and civil departments concerned with the defence of Britain.
He said a closely-knit and elaborate organisation already existed to ensure an" effective and concerted whole in the home defence apparatus. It would be a great mistake at the moment to liquidate and remould thie organieation,
