HONEYMOON COUPLE.
UNUSUAL LUGGAGE
"Robbing" a minister of the church of his robes, his Bible, and his carefully-pre-pared sermons, a honeymoon couple arrived at Mount Cook last week-end after a series of unusual happenings on a plenned bridal tour, says the "Otago Daily Times." They were married on the Saturday evening, and on the Sunday morning they set out by car for Mount Cook, complete with full ski-ing equipment. To their dismay, their car broke down at Herbert, but the resident minister offered to take them into Oamaru before conducting his country church services. Everything was transferred to the clergymen's car, and the honeymooners arrived safely at Oamaru, where they managed to obtain another ear. It wae not until the minister arrived at his service that he discovered that the case containing his robes, his Bible, and his written sermons for the day had also been transferred to the honeymooners' car. In return for his deed of Christian mercy, the Good Samaritan wes deprived of important accessories that could not have been of much use to the newly-married couple.
